An order will be deemed accepted, only after the full amount is credited to the bank account of the company. All orders regardless of remittance are subject to availability of the desired jewellery item in stock. The merchant may, at its option cause the jewellery item to be handcrafted and it might take a tentative period of 20 (twenty) days to deliver from the date of placing the order, and at the same time, holds absolute discretion to cancel the order at any stage. In the event an order is cancelled, the merchant shall refund the full remittance without any interest to the customer within 15 days, by an account payee cheque in the name, order was booked.
Error in ordering process due to technical or other reasons beyond our knowledge entitles us to treat the order invalid.
Company should deliver the goods either by a third party courier or by own delivery personnel.
The final product may have small changes in shape, weight, colour given in the website which in no case be treated defective.
The amount of shipping cost depends on the type, quantity and the place of deliver which will be informed together with the product prices in the website.
In case of gems and stones, prices are given on the average weight of stones and not on the individual one.
PAYMENT PROCESS
Customers can make payments using debit/credit card or net banking through the payment gateway of this website.
Company holds no responsibility regarding any fraudulent activity or unauthorized use of credit/debit cards to make payments.
DELIVERY PROCESS
Goods can only be delivered to the customer or to his/her authorized person. In order to authorize a person to take delivery of goods, the customer is requested to send us an email to customercare@hkduttajewellers.com with delivery instructions.
The recipient of the goods is obliged to produce valid identity proof and address proof or such other documents.
The ordered goods will be deemed delivered, once handed over to the customer or to the authorized person as instructed.
For every transaction, company will create a Tax Invoice, Hallmark Certificate for gold products and Gem Certificate for precious/semi-precious stones which will be delivered along with the relevant products.
Company holds no responsibility due to delay or failure in delivery due to some unavoidable circumstances.
PURITY CLAUSE
Hallmarking stamps will be imprinted only on solid gold ornaments as per Govt. rules and regulations.
REVISION OF THE TERMS
The merchant reserves the right to call off, amend or modify the terms and conditions published at any time and in any manner it feels appropriate. The revision or change in the terms shall become effective immediately on posting on this website.
INSURANCE
Ordered ornaments will be covered by insurance and relevant charges are to be paid by customers.
Minor damages or deformations or deteriorations in the course of the delivery are not covered by transit insurance.
The customer on request shall provide all information and documents, as may be required, to assist the company to lodge and substantiate claims against the insurer in the event of a loss.
LIMITED LIABILITY
The merchant shall be liable for its acts or for the acts of the persons employed in the fulfilment of its obligations only to the limited extent of foreseeable direct damage typical in this type of contract without guarantying the accuracy of any listing, posting or representation. In no event shall the website or its affiliates and service providers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with the merchant, its services or this agreement.
